Prayer of Salvation (Sinners Prayer)
The prayer below is one similar to many used by pastors and ministers for people wishing to repent and varies greatly. You may also ask God for forgiveness of your sins, in your own way, at any time. Your sincerity is most important. Then not thinking, or believing, but knowing you have been forgiven of your sins and moving forward and free from the past. Also, feel free to follow along when people repeat it on TV or the internet if you like. Everyone is different. Read what brother Paul has to say after the prayer. (mary, another message)
Several years ago my Celestial Guardian (Guardian Angel) gave me a lesson. He asked me if you look up, or down when you're climbing a ladder? And if you were carrying some heavy suitcases would that make it harder? His point was that you cannot dwell in the past and carry all that baggage in moving forward or up. So let it go. If you need forgiveness, ask. If it's something or someone you need to forgive, do it. If they're not around or have passed, do it with prayer and bless them. No prayer is wasted, whether for the living or deceased.
